Bysted Garden byfor.
The Bysted Garden bollard is an evolvementof the iconic Bysted light, a cylindrical bollard designed by Bysted for a competition held by Louis Poulsen in 1975.
The concept for the lamp was to produce an exciting pattern by reflecting the light downwards via multiple circular shades. The bollard was produced in corten steel, a material considered revolutionary at the time.
The Bysted Garden is a nearly identical, downscaled version of the original Bysted bollard. It shares a similar design but has had a few modifications, including removing the bolts on top of the fixture to create a more streamlined aesthetic.
